Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, the “pickers” on the History Channel’s series “American Pickers”, will visit Iowa with their production team later this summer on a hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They’re looking for sizeable, unique collections with interesting back stories.
According to a company press release, Wolfe and Fritz are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics, and to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. They hope to give historically significant items a new lease on life as they learn about America’s past.
The production crew is looking for leads. Anyone who has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the pickers can spend the better part of a day looking through, is asked to send their name, phone number and location, along with a description of the collection and photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-old-rust.
